Wood Chips from Our Smithers Sawmill
Every log that does not become a cant becomes chips. We produce clean balsam wood chips as a byproduct of milling and truck them locally to a pellet plant.
Chips that close the loop
We run at a hundred percent wood utilization. What does not square into a cant gets chipped, so nothing is burned and nothing is wasted. Most of our chips go to a local pellet plant as feedstock.
If you have a use for clean balsam chips, talk to us. Availability depends on our milling run, so timing matters.
What we produce
